The oversized blazer carries more than proportion. It carries history.
For generations, tailoring belonged largely to the masculine wardrobe. The jacket represented authority, profession and presence. As women entered spaces once reserved for men, they began to make its codes their own.
From the early tailored silhouettes of the twentieth century to the women who wore menswear defiantly in the 1930s, and later the power dressing of the 1970s and 1980s, the blazer became something more than borrowed clothing. It became a symbol of independence.
And eventually, something changed.
The jacket no longer needed to be reduced, softened or reshaped simply because it was worn by a woman. Its masculine proportions could remain. Shoulders could be broader. The body could disappear slightly beneath the structure. Volume itself became part of the elegance.
That tension is what inspired the Maison Cycas d'Or Oversized Blazer line.
We preserve the generosity of the original silhouette and reinterpret it in leather: substantial, architectural and deliberately oversized. Worn by a woman, its proportions create a different kind of femininity, one that does not depend on revealing the body to establish presence.
It is a silhouette inherited from menswear, transformed through generations of women who chose to wear it on their own terms.

Znovuobjevená silueta
Přesně padnoucí sako nese víc než jen proporce. Nese historii.
Po generace patřilo šití převážně do mužského šatníku. Sako reprezentovalo autoritu, povolání a přítomnost. Jakmile ženy vstoupily do prostorů, které byly dříve vyhrazeny mužům, začaly přijímat jeho kódy jako své vlastní.
Od raných střihů na míru z dvacátého století, přes ženy, které odvážně nosily pánské obleky v 30. letech, až po mocenský styl oblékání z 70. a 80. let, sako se stalo něčím víc než jen půjčeným oblečením. Stalo se symbolem nezávislosti.
A nakonec se něco změnilo.
Sako už nemuselo být zmenšeno, zjemněno nebo přeformováno jen proto, že ho nosila žena. Jeho mužské proporce mohly zůstat. Ramena mohla být širší. Tělo mohlo mírně zmizet pod strukturou. Objem sám se stal součástí elegance.
Tato napětí inspirovala Řada přesně padnoucích sak Maison Cycas d'Or.
Zachováváme štědrost původní siluety a interpretujeme ji v kůži: robustní, architektonická a záměrně přesně padnoucí. Když ji nosí žena, její proporce vytvářejí jiný druh ženskosti, který nezávisí na odhalování těla pro získání přítomnosti.
Je to silueta zděděná z pánského oblečení, transformovaná skrze generace žen, které si ji zvolily podle svých podmínek.
